Reverse problem

Guys need some help.my SVT 6 speed will not go into reverse for sure its in the cable. With the console out it looks like at the cable ends there are two large plastic knurrled knobs to each cable can adjustment be made here? Or do you have to do it at the transmission and can that be done at home or do I need a special tool and need to take it in for service?Any help would be appreciated.Awesome car 77k and this is the first problem ever.

I am also having a very hard time getting it to go into reverse. I have to push very hard to the left before it will go up into reverse. Where is the little orange clip located? Is this something I can tackle myself? Thanks

Its supposed to be kinda hard to get it into reverse. It has a reverse lockout so you dont accidentally shift into reverse. Is that what you are talking about?

No i mean once I push the stick all the way to the left, it is extremely hard to get it into reverse. I have had 2 SVTF's I am very familar with the tranny.
