The MS3 is in serious contention for replacing my Cougar, when that day comes. Car looks great; I like the colour especially.

Ricart in Columbus, then? I HATE those guys; hope your experience was good...

Those are no longer in production and the current gen Mazda 6(2008-present) will not be getting a MazdaSpeed version.

Obviously they aren't still in production, but low mileage ones can still be found.

Here is a link saying there will be a new MS6, have you read somewhere that they shelved it?

I think you'll recognize this story. Mazda decided to split the line into North America and the rest of the world. The rest of the world will likely see another Mazdaspeed (or MPS) 6. North America will likely not. Too costly to develop two models for two different markets given the niche market status and the relatively slow sales of the first generation. From what I've heard, Mazda will make due with just the MS3 in North America (since the 3 is the same everywhere, so the speed version can be sold everywhere and, therefore, spreads the development costs). Sound familiar?
