I think the LS 1.8 will out do the Focus by a lot

Yup, people just have to accept the fact that our motors are grocery getters to begin with . You have to remember the LS 1.8 is in an Integra, which Honda puts ahead of their Civic. Our Focus, on the other hand, is equivalent to like...a D15 sohc vtec, lol.

Be that as it may a grocery getter putting 220whp is something I can smile about...Not to many people expect a focus to have that kind of power.

Right, I'm not saying our *cars* are lame. I love the look of my car. I'm saying our motors are not performance motors. Slap a GT30R on a B18C @ 10 psi vs. a Zetec with ported head. B18C will make a bajillion more hp on the same boost. Don't even get started on the K20. 9.25psi with a Precision Turbo 6262S (kinda like GT35R) put down 420whp. Neither Zetec nor Duratec will ever do that.

Revving to 8k+ to make that isn't reasonable. Sorry to ruin your parade.
