whats so different

i keep reading that when you go to get the SVT tuned to not take it to a place that hasn't done one before because they are different then other cars.

my question is what is so different about tuning the SVT then all other cars?

10.2 compression , VCT , likes the fuel . First thing most tuners like to do is jack up the timing and that wont work on the SVT , The SVT just has a lot of quirks that most tuners wont spend the time to figure out , they will jack up the timing , lean the car out show you a dyno then you will have spk knock and they will take the timing back out loosing what you gained

Most dyno shops wont spend hrs getting you the smoother idle , better take off , better overall driveability they will do mostly wide open throttle only

Its best to get a tune from some one thats been doing a lot of them , I feel I have the best SVT tune out there , I own a SVT and worked on all the things I didnt like about the way it drove

Tom

This alone is reason enough to go with someone who cares and has more experience. I learned the hard way how important this is.
