I was looking at geting a Tom tune. And I have I wideband and will it work with the tune. And what dus the wideband do? It was in a box when I got my supra and I thought about Puting in my svt I would like to know what it dus I know IT reads the air/fuel but anything else

it just reads the a/f ratio. it isnt needed if you are just getting toms out of the box tune for the svt.

but it can help you get a better tune after some datalogging

The thing that gets me is the (auto meter wideband is 349$) and the narrow is like 80$ bucks why is that

Narrow is a toy in this day and time , wide band is a reliable o2 sensor that you can get true AF readings from

Great addition to the tune as we can fine tune the tune and safely make the best power
