i need livelink V.4.41 i can't find it online other than an old abandon mustang forum.

this is my problem...

i have a SCT Xcal 2 with no tune on it yet...

first off i have had all of these problems getting it to link up to 1 my computer and 2 livelink. i have version 5.1.0 and it doesn't seem to like me...

so im out in the car cursing this stuff. and i get the error message OBDI2 can't link up to device... i don't know what that means this is a new one i usually get device reconation failed? im so sick of screwing with this crap i just want to sell it all off and start over...

is their a problem with the tuner, the program, or what.. i have no idea about any of this stuff. and this is way past my skill level...


please any help full advice that gets me to data logging ill give rep for... thanks....

You can get old livelink off sctflash.com, I would delete everything you have now and start over with the down loads and install the drivers , make sure you on the correct comp port and it should all work

The version that is out on SCTFlash is v4.3 I believe and it should work with your XCal. I'll take my laptop down and play and see what happens.

Update: I can't get it to Datalog through Windows 7. So my guess is your having the same issues with Vista. I know the program requires MS .NetFramework 2.0. But the older programs were never Vista certified.

So if you can find an XP machine then you would have better luck. I did get the XCalDump to work, but that isnt LiveWire.

ok i called SCT and talked to them about this problem and got it all figured out.. so it works sorta now.. going to try and get some logs done this weekend. when i get my new tune installed and my car's not running pig rich..
