XCAL II issues...

My focus has been down for a few months because of a broken motor mount so i have not really checked on her for a while. replaced the mount then last night i finally decided to take her out for a drive. my battery was dead so i had it recharged. as i heading out to the local saturday night meet i noticed something funny... my ecu was stuck in the drag tune set up with the rev limiter that i had for the track days. So when me and some friends get there i pulled out my xcal and try to reflash to a street tune but its not working. no matter what i tried i couldnt get out of the tune. it kept saying to me either invalid ECM or invalid stock CRC.... does this make sense to anyone else? Ive had this xcal for maybe three years and i have never used it on anyone elses car or left it out in the sun or anything. it bascially sits in my garage unless im going to the meets/track/ shows// has anyone else had this trouble or have heard of this? i would hate to have to buy a new tuner just to change my tune. will call fswerks in the morning but trying to see if anyone on here had any suggestions first. thanks in advance for the help/
