Sweet ride along man, impressive gains on the track. I liked the star wars style text at the beginning to. How do you like the Hankooks?

Not quite......
No.
It's a long story, but this one's off a late model Jaguar. It's a huge sucker, good enough for a 500hp V8. I put the Ford Racing 90degree adapter on the stock filter mount, then I had to have a little custom fabrication done to the threaded post that mounts the cooler to the 90 deg adapter. I'm also running a larger Jaguar filter, so with the 2.3L pan and BSD the engine holds about 6 qts of oil now with this setup. ![]() The cooler itself is about 2x the size of what you might see on an Escape or Explorer. For the connection to the cooling system, I just plumbed it in series with the heater core. Using some elbows and straight heater hose etc, I cut into the heater hose that goes the long way around to the front of the engine. When I get around to it, I'll take some pics and throw them on this thread.

consistent performance, braking and turn in are very nice, and good feedback overall. I purchased them at the track after I corded my NT01's on advice of an experienced spec miata guy that has tried just about every tire on the planet. He believes the Hankook is even better than an R6, on his Miata. I never had Hoosiers, but I put them on par with the Advan A048's I was running last year. But the price is good, about $165 ea compared to just over $200 for an R6 or the Yokes. I'll have to see if they hold up to heat cycles well or just go off quickly. My Advans are pretty beat up with almost a full season on them, and as long as it's a warmer day with full sun, they still grip real well. If the Hankooks can do that then I will definitely buy them again.

I was still running the pre-modified Koni's and just the "H&R Race Springs", and was running 1:30's there in May on some "oldish" Nitto NT01's. What LSD are you using? I Installed a quaife back in Jan 08, and just love it.
