The 15" fOCUS wheels are 6" though, not 6.5".

Ok, so I was wrong about the width of the rims. But the recommended width for a 225-50R15 is a 6-8" wide rim, that is from the manufacturers. So a 6" rim will be fine. It’s not a 5" inch wide rim or a 9" wide rim; then you would be stretching or pinching the tire.
