well actually in the 1/8th my old SVT ran 10 flat best time bone stock with around 2.2 60ft. with a few basic bolt ons (CAI, exhaust, and 100 octane tune) i got sub 10 second 1/8th. i wish i would have bought the car back when i wrecked it now so i could have used it as a donor car for my zx3 but hey! what can ya do? my zx3 would be a REAL beast by now if i hadnt had to start over with a slower car lol. getcha a good tune from tom and a new clutch job and you will be very very happy, i promise you that!

If you're getting the "Bog" then your TC is NOT fully disengaged.

No no, trust me I know what traction control bog is, the engine is neither retarding nor am I dealing with abs. Take your focus out and dump the clutch at 1000 rpm and see if you wheel peel or bog. Same concept. At the track 2k side step in the drag launch area it sticks way too much and wont spin thus bogging. I did a before and after tune on the street and I got the TC bog before and peel after. Its off, I just suck at driving with a worn clutch!

when i go to the track, i lower my front tire pressure to 23 psi and inflate the rears to 40 psi. i launch at 4,000 rpm by dumping the clutch and seem to run consistent every run....lowering the tire pressure helped a lot with traction when lauching....i have had no problems with the clutch slipping unless i totally screw up the launch. drag racing is an art and a lot goes into it when doing it lol
