Anyone from Charlotte of nearby going to Focusfest??

Hello Everyone,

I'm new to this... I recently bought a Focus and am curious to attend the 2009 FocusFest. I would like to know if anyone in the area is organizing a meet-up to go together? and/or I would like to get something started. I live near Huntersville, NC its about 15 minutes north of Charlotte. Maybe even meetup a week or two before the event to plan everything out. What days are you driving up?? Thursday? Friday? or Saturday? thanks.

For those of you coming from NC and SC, why don't you guys just meet us in the Mid-Atlantic Caravan at the Bass Pro Shops above Sevierville, TN at 9AM on Thursday? That would get us into Russellville, AR around 7PM or so on Thursday so you have Friday to rest up before the block party

I talked to a buddy of mine. He has a Contour SVT and we are thinking of leaving on Friday, due to work. We are planning to drive north on I-77 then head west on I-40. We think it will be about a 15 hour trip for us.
