i wonder an SVT (all options but eap) would weigh with cf hood, cf fenders, cf mirrors, no back seats, sparco seats, td 17" rims (the euro looking ones), alum flywheel, lightweight battery... hmmmmm... maybe should find a cf hatch or something as well.

looks like at least 200 lbs savings maybe more. I'll be happy with taking out 150 lbs and keep it street worthy. Plus I'm too poor to add a supercharger so removing weight it's the cheaper way of gaining some power
The engineers for Honda S2000 CR went through the trouble of removing 100 lbs so it must mean something

another one of mine back from the dead

my PWSC offset the rear-seat delete. the rear end is def. light now.....focuses tend to get squirrly with the back seats out.

Sweet, Seats are a nice weight savings, with the stockers weighing a good bit, Has anyone relocated anything to the rear other then the battery?

If you take out too much in the rear, you better make sure u can get it to stick!!!! I was a little squirelly b4, but now i have a custom setup w/ a 28 mm rear sway and my rear sticks!!

Yeah I want to drop at least 200lbs :-/ but not gut the car.. soo.... light weight battery... no back seats, carbon fiber where I can (cf hood, fenders, mirrors, hatch MAYBE).... no back seats... replace fronts with Sparcos most likely... replace sound system with something lighter... no spare tire/jack/etc... just sucks I weigh a good 220lbs lol.

What are some other weight savers without removing the DD ability of the car?
