Sorry to hear man, I hope you're doing alright. I have a good shop right near my job in East Hanover but I appreciate you looking out. Does the leakdown thing need an air compressor, cause I don't have one, unfortunately. I don't know anybody right nearby that has one either.

Yes it needs compressed air, Lowes/HD probably rents a small compressor you can put in a trunk.
On second thought pulling the head may be quickest in the long run, the leak down will probably only confirm the need to.
