It wasn't so much forgetting parts... it's just that parts were missing from the used kit I bought. It's difficult to tell which parts I was missing until I got to a specific step and thought, "hmmm... none of these bolts fit." The rear bracket was a fail because I didn't realize it was two pieces... I had one of the pieces and thought that was all I needed.

Wait, does the JRSC come with an IAT sensor? I have to go open the boxes and check to see if I have one in there if it did. Or did you buy it aftermarket and just tapped the manifold?

Yeah I have a printout of all the parts that came with the JRSC so I could go through the box and see what was missing and sort through what wasn't supposed to be there. I bought mine used also from a fellow FF'er. Everything so far appears to be there but I am going to give it a more thorough look through once I decide to install it. I do know that I am going to need one hose that was cut some where along the process though but that isn't a big deal.

I have the same IAT sensor... waiting to go in the same place... but alas it is chilling in a box on my desk.

Was the threading in the manifold already right, or did you have to retap?

Are you tuning/running from the new IAT only, or are you running from the stock one & just using the new one as a monitor during tuning? If the former is the case, did you just cut the IAT wires from the MAF and re-route them?

Also, lol at the block heater... mine is ziptied up underneath my intake box.

The JRSC doesn't come with an IAT sensor; I got the sensor and pigtail from Steve at Toussley which are from a Lightning I believe. You can't just tap the manifold either; it has to be drilled out first for a big enough hole and then tapped. My buddy Bryan stopped by to do the wiring... he didn't just cut the wires from the MAF; he actually opened up the MAF connector and removed the pins... LOL. So yeah, the new IAT sensor is wired into the PCM.
