For Sale: MTX-75 Transmission
I have a used transmission with about 36k miles on it. I wanted to do a custom swap into a 91 VW GTI and didn't fit.

The transmission is a 5 speed from a 2004 Focus 2.3L. In excellent condition.

Pick up only in So Cal. Willing to ship at your expense. Shipping is $100.00

Asking $365.00

What final drive? 3.4x or 3.8x? Is it from a duratec or zetec? 2.3 or 2.0?

It's from a 2.3L Shouldn't matter since I believe it's the same transmission.

Not sure on the final drive. I know it's the one that gets better MPG because of the longer drive.

Different bellhousing for zetec and duratec. I was wondering about the size because the 2.0 comes with a 3.8x final drive and the 2.3 a 3.4x. I'm looking for the slightly shorter 3.8x like the 2.3L ST came with and all of the 2.0L duratecs.

You will find those on the 2005 and newer engines only.
