What's the part number for the CC wheel w/o the radio controls?

Thanks!

Thanks Pacman. Did that include the cruise control switch assembly (buttons)?

The part number for the steering wheel with only the cruise control buttons is :
8S4Z - 3600 - CE. This is for a black steering wheel.

The steering wheel I bought is tan, so perhaps the last letter in the part number is a color code. It came as one assembly with just the cruise control buttons, not the radio buttons.

Does this process work with the automatic transmissions without factory SYNC? (I purchased mine in Feb 2008, one of the earlier set of Focuses sold).

Also, does it work even if you get a steering wheel WITH audio controls? I don't care if the audio controls work or not; it's just that I can't seem to find one with just the cruise buttons.

The process is the same for automatic or manual transmissions. Also, I purchased the steering wheel with both cruise and audio controls (minus sync, there are two types of audio controls, with sync or w/out sync) because I wanted the leather steering wheel. My audio controls don't work (yet), but the cruise sure does!

Activating the Cruise Control

mikeswaggs,

I've got the same wheel for my '08 coupe and my dealer tells me he can't get it to program 'cuz the software that lets him do that hasn't been released. Did you have any problems finding a dealer to get it programmed and how long did it take to get it programmed?

Great info here! I have a question for those in the know?

I have a 2002 SE wagon 5 speed, no cruise, though I picked up on eBay years ago the CC package complete...not knowing what I was doing, it's for a 1999-2001 VIN. The plug and play under the wheel is different so it will not just plug in! Do any of you guys know where I could find any wiring diagrams? I plan on swapping out the harness but would need the diagram to plug everything back in.

I have searched the web and asked a few guys about service CD's to which they told me they are not on there.

Thanks in advance for any reply.

Tony

I call BS on that. Tell them to change the parameters on the cruise option to ON.
That's what I did and they got it done

I have a 2008 Focus and have installed the kit, now I am getting the same stuff from some local dealers.
Anyone know any dealers in Mass. that are willing to do it ?
