Need help from Houston area members

My wife has a 2005 ZX4 SE (195/60/15) and needs new tires very soon. What is a good place in houston to go to get tires. I have already checked the big chains, but was wondering if anyone else had any other places.

Thanks.

I have found most of the local single owned shops are same price as the major chains like Discount and NTB. The only difference is cost of mounting and of course the option of Tire Insurance. Or if you get used tires ... those obviously will range in price for wear and tear of tire.

If you don't find one I would say stick with Tire Rack ... You can get a quote then print it out and take it to Discount and they will price match the quote from Tire Rack. I saved up to 200 bucks one time doing that.

Good luck finding some tires.

why yes I do ... I'll just text it to you. ... Um ... but it's a home number not a cell. So you would have to call him.

**BACK TO TOPIC** Research my friend, research. TireRack is great place for tires and yeah it is nice to know they are reputable enough for the chains to price match them.

Did it have to be the same exact tire or did they match it with some comparable?

No they would match the same tire or give you a suggestion in that price range.

We can close this up. Ending up getting some Goodyear Eagle GT. So she is good to go for another 50,000 miles or so.
