Absolutely, I've always liked the focus over other compact cars because of its steering feel and chassis dynamics. You can't bolt on a good chassis

Yes, a direct comparison between honda civic aftermarket parts and focus aftermarket parts will show that honda parts are cheaper. However, on a relative basis, if you compare the focus with GM parts, and the cost of other higher performance cars, the cost is quite cheap.

Quick update, was a bit hungover on saturday, but I got the header bolted back on, and everything back in place in the engine bay. I did the completely unecessary thing of starting the car up with just a header

I think I can still be on track for having the car drivable in competition by April 18th. Items left to do for that date:

-Weld on bung to the flexpipe for the wideband O2
-Install exhuast
-Route wideband wiring into cable and get the wideband wired up and running
-Get initial tune and do data logging for custom tune
-Install koni yellows
