Bumpity bump, still no decision yet...had to pay for a new furnace in my income property up in Michigan, kind of killed some of my free cash flow.
But there is a 2.3 hatch for sale locally, maybe with my tax return I can make a decision. Thanks everyone for the input thus far.

Well, I picked up the 2.3L today, I am pumped to start to tear into this car. Its a 2.3L hatch, already got some bolt ons including a Cosworth intake manifold!
Look for a build thread soon to track my progress on building a civic/neon killing FSP car, which will also see some PDX and track day duty as well.
