Thanks for the correction Erik, as always an excellant driver can often break a general conception of what a car can do in a given class.

I would venture to say though that Aaron Williams has his car build up close to the rules...correct me if I'm wrong there. It would take a lot of investment for our friend who started this thread here to reach that level of prep with his car. He also hasn't said what his level of driving experience is either.

I guess my recommendation would be to go for STX. Build the car up for the class and then make a jump to street prepared when you're ready to trailier your car to events;)

I would say my level of driving is better than most "people" who think they can drive. I have no proof in saying this just my opionion. What kind of mods could i have in STX class?

STX in a nutshell

-Wheels and tires per auto-x-zts' post
-Intake free upstream of throttle body
-Exhaust free after exhaust port, with an aftermarket cat w/i 6 inches of OEM location
-Springs and dampers are free with stock mounting locations
-Camberplates allowed
-Aftermarket LSD
-Sway bars are free

Those are some of the main items

Aaron's car is pretty mild. I Think: Konis, H&R Race, LCR camber, ATS 15x8, 225/45 Hoosiers, 25MM RSB, Bushings, no cat, small battery, no AC, race seats, CAI, custom exhaust...

Coupled with 215/45/16's, the pick-up coming off the line and out of the turns is vastly improved.
