So after buying my car new in 2004, it now has 80K miles and no major issues *knocks on wood*
-Only claim I can make regarding mfg defect is the Clutch Master Cylinder just went out last month, replaced my self. Can't comment on brakes, suspesnion, or dampers though, that stuff hasn't stayed stock :D Oh and the steering feel on the focus should be a benchmark for compact cars.
