I know, isn't it? before I knew anything about cars, I thought "oh put an exhaust on a 4 banger and it'll sound like Fast and the Furious" good thing I grew out of that though...... cause I almost made the damn mistake of getting a 93 (or something) Escort GT and a Pacesetter exhaust might have some pics of it somewhere, but it could have been awful.

but yeah, I didn't expect the SPI to sound very good, but it has well passed my expectations.

I'm sure it also has to do with the output, right? and probably something to do with the hemispherical chamber...

Well we could theoretically make our cars sound like subies. Just make the #1 and 3 cylinder primaries about 2 feet longer than the #2 and 4 primaries and there ya go.

ooh the infinity FX exhaust lol.... bleh. well for the Zetec guys, I know you can also get the scoobie effect by having a misfire in cylinder #4 someone find that video for me lol. yeah it's pretty cool, but I love mine, lol.

hehe there's actually this video of me doing like this like 6 second peel out (lol, just noise ) and finally at the end when I let off the gas, you hear a pssshhh sound, like a BOV sounds SO cool

maybe I'll post that up.......here or somewhere else. maybe just a link to another thread with it in there (gotta find where, though. probably the SR Boredom thread )

Never heard the ultraflow but on my Vibe I had a SRI and just added a Dynomax Super Turbo muffler and I really enjoyed the sound. When the time comes I'm just going to add a dynomax super turbo to the Focus as well. Here are some sounds clips with it on the Vibe.
