I think that he was stating that THEY didn't have any issues during THEIR initial testing of the product NOT that the product itself hasn't had any issues to date. However, I do agree that sales should be put on hold until they have some conclusive evidence as to why the arm failed. I would suspect that a failure by this part can cause more damage than just the part in question. |

Because we only had one part that failed, it does not indicate the whole batch is bad. At this point the manufacturer has indicated to us that this could be an isolated situation.
I only indicated that the part was working fine for the owner here without any issues. I did not indicate anything more than that. We have posted the products on both forums. There was a new question about the part, so I answered it.

Yes, I did note in my previous post that we are telling our customers about this particular customer. That one of the control arms failed. We are leaving it up to the customer to decide if they want to continue with the purchase. We are not keeping this information from them.

Slowmazda3 please do not post more unless you are able to add more helpful information.
Everybody can see the pictures of the one defective arm in the link. We do care about our customers. We never like to see a part go bad at all. We are letting are customers know about this. We are looking to hear more information from the Manufacturer after they come back from the holiday. We will make sure to post something up as soon we have more information.

Are teh reas going to be coil-over only? the only tubular rears i have ever seen where only for cars with coil overs as they did not have a spring perch. Will yours be this way?

How much would the cost increase if you tig weld these arms? what about changing the material to chrome-moly 4130 for added strength? I'd rather pay $600-700 for control arms that I know are strong enough than to cheap out and be uncertain of when my suspension is going to break. Not saying that CFM ones don't do their job, I'm just saying that I would rather pay extra for something that I know is stronger and proven under the worst circumstances. CFM, I seriously think that you should fabricate 2 versions of these arms, the ones currently under production and the ones that I'm proposing.
