The the only reason why we can't tap a woofer set up off of this on non-audiophile systems is because behind the head unit in the dash Ford cut off the harness and there is no 'spot' in the head unit to get a clean sub out. There has been a previous post about this 'issue' where I have posted pictures of the cut harness and lack of connector on the head unit for the appropriate connector if it was there.
So do you guys think it is possible to find that connector and just solder on that one part? If not then the only option, assuming we're using the stock HU, is to use a converter then =(

1. Good luck finding the connector
2. On non-audiophile set ups theres no where to connect the connector that you found.
3. Best bet would be to get one of these: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...+MODEL+-.html#

Your link isn't working and I'd like to see what wires are what coming out of the hu. This is for a 2010 SE w/o sync.

Thanks. After looking at your drawings, I can confirm the wire colors are the same for the 2010. I was abel to figure it out and now I got my aftermarket amp installed. I'm going to have another dealer install Sync in a few weeks. Should be interesting since I don't ahve the steering wheel controls.

They will need to install those or the SYNC will be pretty much useless. I think they will have to swap out your whole steering wheel.

Well, they quoted me about $466 for parts and labor. I just hope they don't undo the work I just did to hook up the amp.
