Hell I guess I had one in my photobucket and didn't even know it. :D





Use that door edging stuff around the cuts so you don't loose an arm. Plus it should make for a decent gasket should you re use the chunk you take out.

That should be a big help, thanks! Did you cut it with the tank in place? I'm thinking that I can do it fairly safely with a nibbler....

by the way, I've used a strap wrench to get the ring off and it worked pretty well for me....

I use a tin snips. Just pull the grommet and go to town.

Hey, not to dampen anyone's ideas, but the hole in the floor for easy fuel pump removal is something I've noticed that American engineers lack the ability to think of- even on trucks!!!

Most every Japanese car I've ever changed the fuel pump on had a removable cover. WTH is wrong with our boys and girls in Detroit???
