haha, u wanna use some good autocross tires, then go w/ the Yokohoma A048's, you wont regret it, I think they are the stickiest Street legal tire out there, but I may be wrong, I had mine on for 5600 miles before my 1st set was gone, but holy crap are they worth it!! I've used them for autocross and they are amazing, but at 250 a pop, they do get a little pricey, I usually go through a set a summer!!!

so..I would go with the dunlops if i got another set of lightweight rims since you can get SOME mileage out of them...LOL.....

I run 215-40-17 direzzas and I have found that they get greasy for me when I run them. I spray them down between every run now and they are much more consistent and predictable. I love them, but they do get greasy for me. I haven't used any other tire though to compare them to. I'm new and I'm sure I am over-driving them though, so it may be as much me as the tire to blame. I've finished 1st in STN at every event I've raced in and I've had a 1st and multiple 2nd and 3rd place finishes in GS, and I'm sure these tires are a big part of that.

maybe check out some yoko parada spec 2's they do excellent for me.
