haha the upper grill is staying chrome for now, I snagged a rear hatch trim piece and some chrome door handles to match, i think it fits pretty well with the polished lip on the wheels. only way that would all change is if i ever do a SAP front (i wish!)
and zx505focus: just take your time when masking, theres no easy line to follow on some parts so eyeball it. thanks everyone

Wow, I think it looks awesome!!! Great idea!!! I've already been considering painting my (aftermarket) grills black - now I know I'll be painting those sections of the bumper at the same time. I too keep thinking I'll leave my main grill surround chrome, to match my polished lip on my rims. Thanks for posting your handiwork, good job on the mod. I was just thinking the other day how white cars can be dressed up/accented really nicely with black trim in the right places. Your car exemplifies the idea. And I like the side stripes too. Overall - nice car man! Is that a sun/moon/whatever roof on your car?? Man, I wish I had one of those...
