Thanks! I do check it after every run, and you are right, it goes up 1-2lbs every run. If I do have to wet the tires, should I wet them and then check the air, or doesn't it really matter?
There are a couple of different camps on the "wetting issue".

I personally am indifferent. So, I'll let you draw your own conclusions.

1 camp says that the temperature goes down by cooling with water. You can off set this by reducing the tire pressure. Wetting the tire reduces traction by launching with a wet tire.

The other camp says that cooling the tire with water reduces greasiness of tires as temperatures increase.

I can't tell you if one is better than another.

My experience is that monitoring the pressures is the most effective way to maintain/increase traction.
