one thing to watch on the strip is if the car ahed of you in the lane is fwd, don't pull into the same tracks, put one tire between.
should state this is if they go through a water pit first. the back tires will track water.
found my best was about 4000 and feather it out quickly. much higher alls you'll do is spin or heat the clutch up since it takes alot longer to feather it out.
don't dump unless you have drag tires on, unless you just like the smoke show.
i've had a best of 14.06 and worst was 15.4 (unprepped and greasy track) no matter what i tried it was 15.4 all night long. even a friends 10 sec mustang couldnt get out of the 12 that night.

What are you putting down to the wheels with the bbk? Take the advice from all these guys should help you out alot. IMO weight removal and stickier tires will make low 14's a constant and high 13's feasible with your new and improved skills of course

Yep, don't epect high numbers when your a newb at it until you get a feel and learn the car and track.
There are alot of variables that can make a huge difference day to day. humidity, temp, tire type, fuel used, etc.
Take for intance my 15.4. track was unprepped, lots of fwd cars dragging water across the kine, high humidity, breeze coming from the direction of travel. crappy fuzion zri tires, and way to many other things.

A better 60 foot will definitely help out, but what concerns me the most is the trap speed. That trap is good for maybe mid 14's with traction. I really don't think the car is pulling that hard.

get a set of 17 inch nitto extreme drag radials, some alky injection, and bump the boost up. launch at 6 grand after a good burnout and dont lift til you cross the line. this whill solve all your problems.
