Question 2007 Ford Focus

Hello,

I am the proud owner of a new 2007 Ford Focus SE ZX4 and I am working on making it my own with a few upgrades. I would love to add in a CAI or RAM, but I can't seem to find any that are shown to fit my year of Focus.

Also, if I install a CAI can I count on having better MPG (I drive I-78 everyday at about 70-80 MPH).

Also, Where would my money be better spent if I'm looking for a balance of better Performance & MPG—a CAI or an upgraded exhaust system?

Thanks.

I want a cold CAI but i dont want to have to replace my engine from sucking up water. AEM seems like it sucks up water, but what about BOMZ? are all the CAI's the same? and i dont like the short ram bacause it just goes to the side of the engine.

the AEM can have the bypass valve installed to keep from sucking up water. You would haveto hit some serious water to do so though. i wouldnt recommend the BOMZ but thats my ohnest opinion

A couple of Volant Questions

I've just purchased a 2005 ZXW, and would like to install a Volant CAI on it.

I can't seem to find out if they make a version that fits the 2005.

They're almost unheard of in Canada, (popular for diesel trucks though).

The volant website doesn't list one for the 2005, they stop at 2002. I've called them, but haven't heard back from them.

Because this is my daily driver (year round...) I'm a little paranoid about going with a long tube CAI (although I realize it's not likely to hydro-lock).

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

I got a 2003 LX with a 2.0L ZETEC. I want to buy the VOLANT for it, however it says it only comes in the 2000-2002 versions. Will it still fit on my '03?
