Here's how mine turned out:


One of my favorite interior mods by far.
I also wired up the O/D to the switch next to the ebrake handle.
The switch is even with the pen holder so it doesn't look out of place.
Its also a great spot for being able to access the switch when I need it.

Thats the momo shift knob....same as the OP has.
It was kind of pricey, but well worth it IMO.
I also have the leather svt boots.....they are a huge upgrade from the stock ones.

is there anyway u can get a mtx shift knob 2 universally fit-n-snug w/o havin 2 pay 100?

does anybody know how to remove the metal rod thats the shifter? i need to remove it because a long time ago i cut the platic rod that goes inside of it short and i cant get it out???

depending on how short you cut it, i suggest you turn it into a short shifter, by taking a plumbers pipe cutter and cutting the pipe 3/4 of an inch below the plastic rod. kind of like this...http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/s...ort+throw+auto

I used a mtx shift knob but its not the best fit. I am still trying to rig up a way to get it to fit with no side play (feeling loose). i'll let you know as soon as i figure it out myself.
