How to drag a 400hp Focus??

Soon enough, she will be back and built up to finest of standards....when i broke the head she was only at 240's at 14lbs, damn thing broke so many times i never got a decent track slip. Anyhow, I already have a coilover kit but not much else in the suspension dept, since all my money would into power.
I'll probably need some drag rims n tires, but dont know which ones? what is everyone running? brands and tire size, please!
Strut bar n traction bar?

Show me pics, give me links, something

I have attached a pic so you can see how low it already is, let me know what you guys think.
Thanks

Rich

Do you have LSD? No point in even trying to put that kind of power down sanely without one. That said, I think that the popular drag tire is the M/T ET Drag SC in 24.5/8.5/15. If your brakes are too big for 15s, then 225/45/17 BFG Drag Radials on SVT wheels are probably your best bet.

Yea, I do. i have a Ford Torsen and st. 4 6puck w/fidanza flywheel & B&M short shifter. Tom's full motor build on a Roush turbo manifold but running a bigger turbo, FR IM + 70mmTB, i have the Apex electronic boost controller so i can set boost buty cycles per gear but gonna need some sticky icky to get some good numbers. I dont have bigger brakes yet but prob gonna need 'em....Of course, that is after i get used to driving this beast of a car im getting!!

Is there anything I can on zx3 stockies, the 15in 5 spoke

I'm outta of cash by now, so I was hoping to run sumoething on these puppies....is it a bad a idea?

Low boost off the line, hit high boost in third when you can stand the extra power without busting loose the tires.

Is that what you do? Or is not as necessary with how long first gear is on the SVTs?

Be it a 5 speed or 6 speed you need to limit your boost in the lower gears to reduce wheel spin.

I would go out and play around with it and try to find the boost setting where you have the fastest acceleration in first and second by the time you hit 3rd go to the big boost setting.

Even at 335whp in my SVT (Quaife equipted) I would just roast 1st 2nd and part of 3rd on high boost but by using a remote switch I could lower the boost to where I got good traction in the lower gears then let it rip in the higher gears.
