You could try it, but you may get the same thing you already have!

Hey, that's great, DHF. This prompted me to do a little searching of my own, and I came across a LOT of detailed owner reviews of various Fiamm aftermarket horns (air horns, electric horns, etc.) on a Miata discussion list (a louder horn is a particular big issue to Miata drivers, because the Miata is invisible to SUV drivers). The page includes SEVERAL reviews of the AM-80, and the owners were all quite pleased with it.

It might just be the same as the stock Focus horn, but maybe not...
