Does anybody have good instructions on how to get the battery in a key fob changed, mine is getting really old. how do i open the fob, and what type of battery do i need? i just dont want to pry it open and break it, cause im sure ford will charge about $900 for a new one

I used a dime to open mine up. Just popped it in, and gave it a twist.

Then its just a standard watch battery. Should be a CR2032 or equivalent (just opened mine to look). Get one at Wallymart for $1 or whatever

^ that will work.

Replacement fobs are 10 bucks on ebay.

I will post pics of what I have had to do to mine later... [|?]
