Mine does it every once and awhile also, not really a problem, just sucks! Happens as described by the OP, but I'm usually braking hard with the foot on the clutch, sometime I can save it with some gas, sometimes it saves itself and sometimes it just dies and shuts-off. My car is nearly stock and it happened before the tune from tom and after, it has to be some design flaw with these cars, anyone figures it out LMK!

This is a big sign that you need to change your fuel filter. Mine hasn't died once since I changed mine. For some reason the SVT needs much more frequent fuel filter changes than other cars -- probably every 25k to 30k miles.

mine does it too but only after its been warmed up, shut off, then restarted. weird. also it runs really good after it sits overnight, the bog is hardley noticeable, but after i shut it off then start it again it runs like crap and bogs something fierce, and dies when i push in the clutch occasionaly, i noticed that the tach dances around a bit just before it dies, and when its acting up it pops alot more through the exhaust, my thoughts would be a sudden drop or fluctuation in fuel pressure. frustrating so frustrating

My tune shouldnt be doing this if you have my tune and it does this daily then email me and lets see if we can get that fixed , there is an adjustment to slow down how fast the idle drops but to much and the idle will hang we have some room to play with

Now the biggest problem is ? Is it the tune or other issues with the SVT before contacting me "Restore Origional Backup" then drive it some and see what happens , if this still happens change plugs and try again. Still there ? email me for a tune update

Tom

I don't believe that Tom's tune is the problem. I'm gonna try replacing the fuel filter 1st since it seems to have helped a couple posters. I'd say mine's been on there for a while. Who knows, this could be another SVT mystery similar to the "gurgle." lol

Take a look at your DSI clip. I had that happen to me a bunch because it was stuck open, taking too much air in so when I went out of gear sometimes, it would just shut off. I didn't get a CEL code until about a month or 2 later. Just something to think about.
