and how does this compare with other SVTFs on the auto x circuit
Well, there's not many running around here in Montana, but I haven't been beaten by another one yet.
In fact, I've been STS champ for 3 years running now.
Last year, I was the SCCA Region 105 Points Champion...overall
And...it's not like people haven't tried to beat me...just ask focusedaddition.
I seem to be walking around with a target on my back.

The AGX are adjustable:

The Progress bar is an excellent compliment to the stock front bar.
It aided rotation by more than I ever expected, yet it's not upsetting for a daily driver:

and while we're on the topic....

what settings do you have your AGXs set to, for daily driving and for racing? I'm a fan of "bang for the buck" and this set up seems perfect.

^^^Daily driving: 1-Front / 3-Rear
Racing: 3-4 Front / 8-Rear.
Fronts adjust from 1-4, and Rears are 1-8.

You could use a mild set up that would be fine on street and track..
I run front -2.0* camber with max caster and 1/16" toe out
rear -1.5* camber 0 toe with my Kyb's @ full stiff ( shock settings depend on springs your using. Wd40 is closer to where you are. A rear sway bar is more than enough , I run the same 22mm rear & have tried a few & went back to the progress 22mm rear bar!

Mr focusedaddiction, it looks like you've modded your focus a lot more than WD40, are you running in the same class?

I've only been autocrossing a few times... in my old 5.0. I guess I should dust off my old SCCA membership.

1. Winning races is so much more about driving talent than car.

2. I don't mind the thread jack ;-)

3. I've decided to keep the current near-stock set up for now, and next season I'll mess with it more. And I'll take lots of notes. It's hard to remember every factor that goes into each turn, especially since the course is different every time.

I think WD's success proves the point that you don't have to throw money at the car to be fast.

As for tire pressure...depends on what kinda tire your running, the surface your on that day, course layout, suspension setup, etc. Like WD, we run RT-615s and the Progress rear sway bar. The fronts seem to work best in the 42-45psi range and we run the rears around 36-38psi.

Some folks like to run higher pressures in the rear tires vs. lower. While I've not tried this myself, it is my understanding that if you go high enough, you get the same effect as running a lower pressure in the rear. The rear end of the car will want to break away sooner. I've read that a higher rear tire pressure will break away faster than a lower rear tire pressure. So it really depends on what you like.
