Highly unusual to blow a tire but I have seen several beads rolled off the rim. This happens if the tire has too little pressure and/or the course has a lot of loose dirt or sand in the corners. If this is the case tires should be aired up a little (nothing like autocross). Carrying a ten gallon or so air tank and a small plug in air compressor (to refill the tank if necessary) can be very handy. The tank is nice because it has enough pressure to re-seat a rolled bead. Keep an eye on corners while your waiting or working. Conditions can change very quickly.
