Well done!
Very smooth, good hand position, good throttle management... However, that lot looks like it was bombed in WW II. I bet it eats tires like no one's business. No wonder you run street tires...

Thanks guys! Actually - it is an old WWII bomber landing strip!
The course itself is always an interesting managment of the usable surface. You want to talk about crazy? The East Coast Timing Association uses the entire length for 200+MPH speed runs - cars and bikes! |

Nice video... sweet run. I noticed that the course looked a little rough but your camera mount held up pretty well without a lot of camera shake. What are you using for a camera mount?

A tripod very securely bungeed in between the seats - I'll take a pic before I remove it tonight.

It sounds like Fentres Air Station in the Tidewater area of VA. Years ago, the SCCA used it. Your video immediately reminded me of it. I ran there twice. Each time, I spent 20 minutes picking gravel and concrete out of the slicks after the event was over.

Use the head rest. Raise the head rest up enough to get the camera under it and then lower the headrest until the camera is held firmly. Be careful not to press any controls. Worked pretty well, but there was also a fair amount of shaking under hard cornering.
