Thinking about shooting mine Gloss black with acrylic enamel , what kind of a primer would i need , im thinking about stripping the wheels to bare alum before i do it .

i have 17" EXCEL wheels, very nice but the clear coat is chipping off and there are some black and yellow paint specks over it ( last driver must have crossed the NEWLY painted yellow lines lol), so i am thinking of painting mine aswell cuz the chiped clear coat gives it a grubby look... i was thinking about gloss black, or some angle dependent optical shift paint (chameleon paint?)... how do you think that would turn out???

Wow.. might actually paint mine. Any idea on the timeframe itll take? I have no spare rims nor a second car atm. So yeah. Would have to be done THAT day.

well, i was in kinda the same boat. so i painted my 2 fronts one saturday, let dry over night and put back on the next day. then did the back 2 the followingn saturday. i felt like a retard rollin around like that for a week but oh well.it was only a week.
