well, i cant say i diverted too much from your how-to, although i did find that if your careful, you can use the same solder already on there to put the new l.e.d.'s though. also, i found this to be VERY easy if you have an extra set of hands helping. i tried it by myself at first and almost soldered my fingers, so i called a friend and we breezed through it. took us about 20 minutes to do mine...heres my results...

before anyone asks or brings it up, no this is not "legal" but when my h.i.d.'s are lit, the red fades out so you really can't tell....

RED HALOS!!!!

Thanks again scrammer...

Has anyone tried playing with the eyebrow leds? I was wanting to maybe play with hooking up my strobes to some blue and red leds.
And before anyone flames me, its only illegal if you use them on the road. Showing them off at car shows, driveways, and parking lots is just fine. And I know, its like a $600 fine for using them on the road.

Hello!
I am new, and dont have a Focus but happened upon this DIY (Which is a great one btw), and I simply need to know, what were the voltage ratings of the leds? I am buying projectors for my 97 Accord and will be replacing the leds with 3.8v 13k mcd:) ones. So I am assuming there is already a resistor in place before the legs of the leds, or will I need to purchase a few to reduce the 12v? Thanks!
