sweet, my thread now has the ellipses and the last page thingy on at the end! this is quality.

btw, we're doing a weight comparison for all the nay-sayers out there who are worried about ruining the handling of the car. which mine is on Eibach Sportlines, so that would be hard to do.
current curb for an automatic 00-04 ZX3: 2750.
i'm losing about 20lbs thanks to aluminum construction, and another few cause of the manual, and since i dont feel like buying an AC compressor (id rather have a running car sooner) i'm losing some weight there. we will go curb it when its done, at least a half tank of gas and all that good stuff. then the number will be put up here. im excited!

yeah, good luck with the CSVT wiring harness, you are going either shit-rig or afro-engineer some way for it to intergrate to the environmental systems and such, also you'll have problems with getting your gauge cluster working. Yes you need to custom make motor mounts, good luck with that, I would suggest overengineering them thus not having to compute force requirements. Your main problem is going to be a wiring harness it is not a case of using the csvt harness, you are going to have to combine it with the focus harness. If I was closer i may be able to have helped you with signal generators, and oscopes and such. If you can get this thing running in a month I will be very surprised.

One of the mechanics we are working with knows the Ford wiring harnesses like the back of his hand, and Brian is good with electronics anyways :) I think we're good to go on the wiring :)

i have the CSVT ECU, so yes i may have to shit rig the instrument cluster, but i've got plenty of tools to do that. and i can always go get a contour IC and drop it in.
