That pretty slow^^^, I think they start off in the low 16s, I raced one from a dig, 99-02 (I'm guessing). I took him hard off the line and he never recovered. No I didn't use nitrous, I'm always out. Now officially taking donations for the poor man's turbo fund...

You will have no prob. Ive raced a few, and with just bolt-ons and a tune i beat them by quite a bit. YOu have a SVT so speed is similar to me. You win easy, unless you have a tard moment. Remember Ford built the SVT to beat the SI. Ford does not loose, if they try.

No there really that slow. Do a search. Had a crappy 60'. But still very high 15s is about all they got. They have 140hp with 110tq what did you expect?
I been running hondas since forever the focus is my first American car.
NASA Spec focus class got me interested. Plus i was tired of tickets. I see 99-00 EM1s hitting low 16s all day.

Now a JDM B16a in a CX hatch might do pretty well.
I had a All motor build JDM H22 in a DC2 that ran high 12's all day hot lap after hot lap. $5600 total investment in it (including the car)

I eat everything that says "Civic" on the back around here. Don't care what letters come after that. Guess nobody is savvy enough for a motor swap.

They used to be my primary targets when I was all N/A. Now they're a waste of gas.

OK I have had my Focus for about seven month's I love it, it's loads of fun. I have never done an autocross before, I never had a four cylinder before, I am attending the Miata autocross on Sunday, and a guy from work has a new SI (about 8K on the odometer) he is going so we can go heads up.

Any tips or advice would be appreciated, I will never hear the end of it if he has a better time than me, we are both stock as far as power. I have upgraded the drivetrain and will do any last minute changes I can.

bfgsvt, im sorry but your going to get raped by the 06-07 civic si those freakers are quick. i can bairely take one in my cobalt (non ss), but people from texasfoci knows what my car can do. im almost confident the si will take you by about 4-5 cars from a dig

we are defenetly talking about different engines here.....his engine is the one that has 162bhp....now is that the b16 engine?
