Going out to the track tonight

Hey guys, I'm heading out to the local drag strip tonight here in Martin, Mi and was looking for a few pointers... I'm currently running my Kazara KZ-R 18's and was wondering what kind of impact those would have on my times, I know rotational mass and all that. I was thinking of running my stockers on the front, would it make a difference if I left the 18's on the back, since the engine really doesn't have to turn them directly they are just along for the ride, I took my spare tire and jack out, and my system, so weight is a bit of a concern to me. really I'm just looking to see were I'm at, performance wise. (hoping to see some decent numbers)any comments would be appriciated thanks.

Drop 10 LBS out of the front tires. Use the stickier ones.

Add 10LBS to the rear tires.

Carry a cooler with 2-3 bags of ice and towels.

Between runs, place a towel on top of the intake. Put the ice (in the bag) on the towel. Leave it on as long as possible, but remove before your run. Helps to cool things quicker. Also, marginally, it helps cool the air inside the intake which means denser air, which means a richer air/fuel mixture.

Take a bug sprayer (pump style canister) and fill with water. Between runs, spray the front of the radiator. Helps to further cool the car.

Once you get this out of your system, come try autocross.

get rid of the 18's up front and put the stockers on. Made a .3 second difference in my car doing so.

wow thats interesting.....i might gonna try it.....so in my case i just have to put it on top of my Volant openning box?

and i guess i have to spay cold water on the radiator
