05+ Stock Headunit Ipod Solution
Today at Best Buy, i bought this thing called the "isimple" which has a connection for the "aux" button. I had it professionally installead there which took 1 hour to get all done! the final price was $164. I definately recommend it because you can control your ipod through the headunit (browse artist, genre, album, etc) and keep you ipod concealed in your glove box. The only negative i had is that when it is plugged in, you can no longer use the ipod controls (im picky). all in all great buy.

I just acquired an ipod this past weekend, and have been looking around for this type of solution!
I almost bought the PIE adapter, and now I'm glad I waited. I think i know what I'm going to be picking up during my lunch break.
