Grrrr... I have to decide between v8focus1 and Mofocus, its not fair.

I had to pic the SHO, its just TO COOL. I don't think most folks realize the amount of time that went into that car... It was done back when everyone on FF was arguing that it was impossible and that it wouldn't fit... The first pics he posted of it, he was accused that it was photoshopped! LOL

Mofocus gets it next time, sorry buddy. I only got one vote.

looking at the picks it looks like alot of time and effort went into putting the show motor in to the focus. looks like a ton of custom fabrication was made to put a motor of that size into the engine compartment and let alone fabing the exhuast manifolds to fit if you ever saw a stock sho setup you would know how much custom parts are in the shocus. definetly not a bolton car like mine and many others.

Well, I'm sure Ian could explain much better, but here are a few.. What axles do you use?, how about the exhaust, how about motor mounts?, physically making it fit and get things the right length. And last but not least. The dash WORKS..it IS NOT a plug and play to say the least. It takes a total understanding of the wiring to make the two cars talk to one another. Oh BTW, it runs and drives great, he shows up to meets quite often in it.

I'm not a mechanic or anything even close, so maybe I'm way off base here. I've got to say, though......anything done like v8focus1 did to that SHO car is nothing short of amazing & brilliant. I just don't believe bolt on body kits will ever compare. Sure, they look pretty, but with a tiny bit of know-how & a few bucks for kit, pretty much anyone can do it. v8foucs1 did it HIMSELF!! A swap like that! Gets my vote folks. 'nuff said.

Agreed. Viney - I was also torn between Mofocus & the SHO. Next time Greg, I love what you've done to your car too!
