What is the stock speaker size?
Hi all,
I own an 05 Focus St with the factory Sony stereo upgrade.
I noticed that my front right speaker is blown, what size speakers are in the door? are they 5x7? if so can 6x9 fit? What type of speakers do you recomend, I am happy with the sound quality and need a nice replacment.

I was also wondering what options there are for upgrading the factory 8in sub? I would like to use the same size sub so I can use the factory set up. Would a better sub help with bass? or is an amp needed?

5x7.. and no a 6x9 cannot fit because of depth issues...

actually the speaker size is 6"x8" but 5"x7" fit in the same hole
