driving with parking lights on?

Been pondering why some people drive with their parking lights on, I have to say I don't understand it. I've always worked on the conservative side and figured that if it was dark enough (or conditions bad enough) to turn the lights on I was going to turn them all the way on.
And half the time if you were depending on just the parking lights to see them coming it would be too late.
And last, there's a reason they call them PARKING lights....

i have never ever ever driven with my parking lights on. never ever....

did i happen to mention that i never ever have driven with them on???

mine are always open. its just habbit. i throw them on so people see me better.

Ditto..I also drive with all my lights on, including my fog lights, Just want to be seen better too.

i have no choice..the infamous fog light mod requires the parking lights to be on.....duh...lol

actually, all GM vehicles have DRL, which is why they all have the front parking lamps on at all times. Same with most Subies.

why not turn your lights all the way on?

by the way it is illegal to drive with parking lights on, they are supposed to be used to indicate a car that is stopped along the road in the event that stopping is needed but it is not an emergency (necessitating the hazard lights). Note that parking lights are distict from the driving lights available on some cars...
