Okay number of shifts but what are u planning to race a half mile? for every hundred pounds u loose how many ponies? Its impossible, either the SVT was a fake or he just plain old sucked or he just wanted to inflate the elantra's ego so he can squash it the next time

Something's not right. I have a ZX3 and and SVT and they don't compare performance wise. I will tell you one thing though, the SVTF is not a drag racing car. It's just not made for that, thats why alot of guys burn out they're clutch/flywhees on those cars cus all they do is launch them. I like taking the SVTF on the freeway. Thats where all the power really is. Maybe your elantra is a "factory freak". Hey it happens.....

A few months ago I drove my buddies wifes elantra GT and yeah, the thing WAS pretty fast. Suprised me. Again likeyou guys said, I dunno about SVT pep...put its no slouch.
