Auto-X Vid from 8/13
This was my second time ever auto-xing. I ran 5th quickest out of 19 Novices. Only cars to beat me were STX GTI, STU Legacy GT, STS Focus ST (MyBlackST), and a Porsche Boxter. I would have ran .2 quicker than Dave's ST but I hit 2 damn cones!!!! As you can see though, this is definately an AWD course. It is really a go-kart track (methonal) but the WNY-SCCA has an event there once a year. I have fallen in love auto-x and it has totally changed my plans for the car. But here is my 5th run which was my second quickest (64.344). I am in SM only because of the CF hood. Otherwise I'd be in STS and not be ranked so low because of the PAX multiplier.

Nice driven Cooter, after you didn't come out from behind that truck though at first I was worried!

Looks like a decent track as well.

It was fun as hell. The track was in a little rough shape but oh well. Pushing very hard through that corner where my buddy was recording.... They were still shocked to no tomorrow with my time though.

Why not make "I want to start autoX one day" into "I'm going to the next event"?

Don't waste another minute waiting on parts, or anything else. Just get out there and start racing! You will suck at first, and you will be slower than many other cars, but the only thing you will regret is not starting earlier...

It's only a once a year thing for the WNY region. There are normally a couple events there between the 3 regions right around here. It's awesome but I wish it could get reblacktopped!
