How is the SVT Guage cluster put together?!? LED wise?!?
I was wondering. My friend Randy and I are gonna make up some custom guages for my SVT. We would like to know
A-Anyone have the white SVT guages for sale?!? Just the template not the whole cluster. So if an SVT owner swapper em out or somethin. B-Are there LED's behind there?!? How is it light up?? I'm assuming multiple LED's but I have no idea. Thanks a lot!!! -Joe

I'm pretty sure that the stock SVT faces are Electroluminescent, which means that the face itself glows. This is done by passing an electrical current through a specially prepared assembly. There should be no lights inside the cluster to light up the faces. Unfortunately, you are possibly stuck with the stock green lighting.

so doesd anyone think this will work. I told my friend Randy that and he said we can still get guages take out the luminesent stuf and use thoe led stripes that will light up dashboards and whatnot (those small tube things) and string them through the new guages to make everything light up. Possible?!?

Joe,
We can offer you SVT gauges. However you will need to find a way to Illuminate the gauges. The "glow wire" would work if you could find a power source to use. Thanks, Tyler |
